TSAWWASSEN, B.C. – This renovation was born from the clients’ desire to integrate the interior spaces of the home with outdoors, maximize natural sunlight and create a more intimate relationship between their home and their creative lifestyles. Given a modest budget, the main strategy involved phasing the construction process and making small changes that have a great impact. In response, light scoop “incisions” were created between existing trusses in order to bring light to dark spaces. Furthermore, interior openings were created and walls removed to increase the openess of the existing home.
